Title: Community Alliance for Research and Engagement (CARE)
Status: Current
Topic: Community
Purpose:

The Community Alliance for Research and Engagement (CARE), in collaboration with the New Haven community, works in tandem with the PRC to take action against chronic diseases and other challenges that threaten the health of community members. CARE was founded in 2007 at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH), and in 2016 formed a partnership with the College of Health and Human Services at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) to combine the research strength of the YSPH with practice-based, community-focused programs at SCSU.
