The Yale-Griffin PRC is committed to forming community partnerships where the active involvement of community residents, organizational representatives, health professionals, and researchers enhance the understanding of health problems, thereby collectively shaping research intervention approaches in all aspects of the research process.
Partnerships of equitably shared responsibilities and ownership will ultimately lead to the improvement of the health and well being of the community as a whole. Our Community Committee is made up of community members who help guide our research priorities.
The PRC continues on an on-going basis to actively seek partnerships with members of the community. We encourage you to contact us with questions about data, health information, or ideas about how we might collaborate.
